I participated in many professional conferences and business plan competition, in order to understand the business environment and language. I also focused on classes in business, statistics, mathematics, and read business articles on a regular basis.
The most exciting thing about my career is the work-life balance. My schedule is flexible so that I’m able to spend time with my family, participate in community service, and go on exciting trips to other countries
$82,000 – $126,000
I take care of myself by spending quality time with friends and family, working out (weightlifting and Kemetic yoga), reading, and going to the movies.
I’m a member of the Urban League which is an organization committed to empowering the underserved community. I also work with the Southern University Alumni chapter to help raise money to send Houston area students to college. It’s important to give back ensures that there will be opportunities for others.
I exercise my leadership skills at work by leading junior compliance officers in investigations and training. Outside of work I use those same skills to lead community organizations in meeting their goals in fundraising and administration. I try to use my leadership skills to motivate others to be the best that they can be.
I check my credit score every month to make sure that there aren’t any errors. I make sure to establish a budget for every month, so that I can keep my spending under control. Also I invest money in the stock market and into buying homes to use for rental income.
I want my legacy to be the empowerment of a new generation that knows no limitations to what they can achieve.
